Searching and Screening Individuals and Companies
Infocredit Group offers screening for both companies and individuals, a simple search to get data for a specific person or company, using some search parameters.

Search for a Company
Description
To search the Screening Database for a company you will need to provide the company name. Optionally to get more accurate results you can provide the Country of registration of the company you are searching for and the related datasets.

Company Search Parameters

search_type | String (Required) | The search type should be set to business for a company search. |
company_name | String (Required) | The company's name |
countries | Comma Separated | Specify which countries will be searched |
datasets | Comma Separated | Specify which datasets will be searched |
threshold | Integer (0-100) | Determines how closely the returned results must match the supplied name |
The default result of a search will return the first 100 results from our database, if available. By using the offset and limit parameters, you can increase the result limit or retrieve more results through multiple searches.
In the following example we will search the screening database for a α company named Microsoft. We will search in the countries PL and DE and we will search in the PEP dataset. We will set the threshold to 70. This means that the results returned will be those that match the search criteria with a 70% or higher accuracy.

Search for an Individual
Description
To search the Screening Database for an Individual you will need to provide the first and last name. Optionally to get more accurate results you can provide the countries and Datasets (resource here).

Individual Monitoring Search Parameters

The default result of a search will return the first 100 results from our database, if available. By using the offset and limit parameters, you can increase the result limit or retrieve more results through multiple searches.
In the following example we will search the screening database for an individual named Bill Gates. We will search for him in Russia, Cyprus, and the United States. We will search the PEP and Sanctions datasets. We will set the threshold to 90, meaning that the results must be at least 90% similar to the name we are searching for. Finally, we will set the aml parameter to true.

Match Types Details
The field match_types_details gives a comprehensive explanation of why a match happened. For each entity name you matched, it provides information on how each word from your search term was matched with the entity, along with other relevant information about the name.
The components of each match_types document in the list include:

matching_name | A name that your search matched with, including alternate names. |
sources | Sources (e.g. OFAC SDN List) connected to the matching name. |
aml_types | Anti-Money Laundering types (e.g. sanctions) related to the matching name. |
name_matches | A breakdown of how each word in the search term corresponds to the matching name. |
